 Yellow Cards Rules

1.Unsporting Behavior: A player can receive a yellow card for unsporting behavior. This includes actions such as simulation (diving), dissent (verbal disagreement with the referee's decision), and other behaviors that are considered unsportsmanlike.

2.Persistent Infringement: If a player consistently commits fouls or engages in other forms of misconduct throughout the match, the referee may issue a yellow card as a warning.

3.Delaying the Restart of Play: Players can be cautioned for deliberately delaying the restart of play, such as taking too much time for a throw-in or goal kick.

4.Not Retreating at a Free Kick: If a player fails to retreat the required distance when a free kick is awarded to the opposing team, the referee may issue a yellow card.

5.Entering or Reentering the Field Without Permission: Players who enter or reenter the field of play without the referee's permission may receive a yellow card.

6.Unsporting Conduct Toward an Opponent: Any unsporting conduct directed towards an opponent, even if it doesn't warrant a red card, may result in a caution.

7.Removing Jersey During Goal Celebration: If a player removes their jersey during a goal celebration, they may receive a yellow card for unsporting behavior.

Yellow cards serve as a formal warning to players, and if a player receives a second yellow card in the same match, it results in a red card and ejection from the game. The team must then play with a numerical disadvantage for the rest of the match.
